Definitely authentic Chinese food if you order their side dishes, not those from the open display tray! Prices are cheaper than average Chinese food in town. Quick service. I was surprised to learn that this place has been open for more than 30 years...!

I tried it for once for lunch. It smelled tasty, but the chicken was so big that I didn't  want to eat it. Rice was unpalatable.

I never ate here when I was a university student, but decided to try it when I was at HUB Mall and extremely hungry. While a bit expensive for the serving sizes, I found the food to be reasonably good. The fried rice was not greasy and the vegetables in it could actually be tasted, while the orange chicken had a pleasant, citrus taste. The ginger beef was not over-fried and tasted fresh. I also tried some of the spicy tofu, which I really enjoyed, until I realized there was meat in the dish, which turned out to be pork (I don't eat pork for cultural reasons). I would not expect meat to be in a tofu dish, and the staff were really nice about it and replaced my meal. There is also a menu of food made to order, which I may try at a later time.

As a Chinese food lover and amateur chef, HoHo's foods are disgusting. I felt so bad every time I had it. (I only tried 3 time in the last 3 years). They smell good, so after one year's recovery, I decided to give it one more last try. I threw up again!! I will never have hoho in my life again.

Ho Ho has your basic western Chinese food fare. But  several of their dishes are done (please don't tell me how they are done) particularly well: namely the tofu is crispy, chewy, and tasty (read salty and fatty). As is the greasy deep fried noodles (which they call Chow Mein...there were indeed three or four sprouts in my "chow mein") that come on the bottom of all the combo dishes.

Go to Ho Ho to grease up your insides. If you like this style of Chinese food, you'll probably give Ho Ho 4 or 5 stars. Me though, well I recommend Indian down the Hub for taste and health. But that's me.

I should note that their menu actually looks quite extensive: most people just order from the dishes laid out in the display, but it might be possible to order much more. I don't know, but there's potential there.
